      We are here with you with the first of the trainings to be organized within GÜSEM in the 2023-2024 Spring Term. 

      Our registrations for the 162-hour (81 theoretical, 81 practical) YÖKDİL English Preparatory Training, which will start on January 29, 2023 and continue until August 4, 2023, are now open. You can complete your registration procedures to take part in our training, which is limited to a quota of 60 students.

      *No classes on public holidays.
      **The total number of weekly live lessons is 6 hours.

            Educational purpose:
      • Teaching all grammatical structures of the English language.
      • To ensure that students understand what they read.
      • To ensure that students can translate from English to Turkish and from Turkish to English.
      • To ensure that students can identify the correct options in multiple choice tests on grammar, vocabulary and paragraph knowledge.
      • To ensure that students are successful in exams conducted by ÖSYM and other international exam centers.
      Knowledge and Skills to be Gained by the Program:
      • Will learn the structure of basic-level English sentences and be able to translate them mutually between Turkish and English.
      • Will learn the structure of intermediate-level English sentences and be able to translate them mutually between Turkish and English.
      • Will learn the structure of upper-intermediate-level English sentences and be able to translate them mutually between Turkish and English.
      • Will be able to read and understand English texts.
      • Will be able to read, interpret English texts, and make inferences about implicit meanings.
      • Will be able to identify sentences that disrupt paragraph coherence.
      • Will know the meaning and usage of approximately 3,000 of the most commonly used words in the English language.
      • Will learn to understand the context and content of spoken English and how to complete conversations appropriately.
      • Will be able to choose the correct sentence to complete a paragraph with missing information.
      • Will learn how to structurally and semantically complete a half-given English sentence.
      • Will be able to achieve a high score in English language exams prepared by ÖSYM.
      • Will achieve successful results in national institutional language exams.
      • Will achieve successful results in international institutional language exams.
      • Will be able to understand contemporary, popular, or scientific texts written in English.
      • Will be able to utilize the content of English-written texts in scientific studies.
