      COMPUTER APPLIED STATISTICS EDUCATION

      *This training is only for academicians working at GIRESUN UNIVERSITY.
      Our registrations are open for the 22-hour COMPUTER APPLIED STATISTICS TRAINING to be held between February 26 - March 01, 2024.
       

      Tuition Fee : 300 TL

      *The training quota consists of a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 100 people.
      ** Payment information will be contacted by GÜSEM to inform those who are eligible to register just before the training start date.

      Training Days and Hours:

      Trainings will be held on February 26-27-28-29, March 01, 2024 between 16:00-20:00. 
      Training will be held ONLINE. 
      *No classes on public holidays.

      Online Statistics Course General Principles:
      • All lessons will be held live online.
      • The lesson time is 40 minutes.
      • The recordings of the lessons will be made available to students for individual use. Students will be able to watch the lessons offline as much as they want.
      • The lessons will be processed through statistical package programs.
      • Students will be able to download the demo version of the IBM SPSS program to be used within the scope of the course and install it on their computers to practice.

      (Lesson 2) Probability and Probability Distributions
      (Lesson 3) Descriptive Statistics, Normality Tests, and Statistical Graphs
      (Lesson 4) Parametric Hypothesis Tests: t-test, Independent Samples t-test, Paired Sample t-test, ANOVA – Post Hoc Tests
      (Lesson 5) Non-Parametric Hypothesis Tests: Run Test, Mann-Whitney U Test, Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, Kruskal-Wallis Test
      (Lesson 6) Linear Regression Analysis: Multiple Linear Regression
      (Lesson 7) Categorical Data Analysis (2 hours): Logistic Regression, Chi-Square Tests
      (Lesson 8) Multivariate Hypothesis Tests (2 hours)
      (Lesson 9) Factor Analysis (2 hours)
      (Lesson 10) Time Series Analysis and Sample Size Determination (2 hours): ARIMA, Exponential Smoothing, Seasonal Decomposition, Non-Linear Regression, Sample Size Determination
